# Rate Limits

The EngineRoom Public API uses a number of safeguards against bursts of incoming traffic to help maximise its stability. Users who send many requests in quick succession might see error responses that show up as status code `429`.

You are allowed to make **60 requests** per minute with a maximum of 10,000 requests per 24-hour period, which resets at midnight GMT+10.

If you require more requests per minute and/or more daily requests, email <dev@engineroom.com.au> to discuss additional pricing tiers.
