Rate Limits

Learn about API rate limits and how to work with them

The EngineRoom Public API uses a number of safeguards against bursts of incoming traffic to help maximise its stability. Users who send many requests in quick succession might see error responses that show up as status code 429.

You are allowed to make 60 requests per minute with a maximum of 10,000 requests per 24-hour period, which resets at midnight GMT+10.

If you require more requests per minute and/or more daily requests, email dev@engineroom.com.au to discuss additional pricing tiers.
